INDIVIDUAL PSYCHOTHERAPY

Find Relief from Anxiety and Rebuild Secure, Healthy Relationships
You don’t have to keep living in overthinking, emotional distress, or relationship patterns that leave you feeling disconnected. Therapy can help you feel grounded, secure, and in control again.

I’m Dr. Daniella Pedroso, a Licensed Psychologist in Arizona (Psy.D.), specializing in anxiety disorders and attachment-focused therapy for adults.

I help individuals who feel stuck in cycles of worry, self-doubt, or relationship patterns rooted in attachment trauma or narcissistic abuse. Together, we work to understand how your past experiences shape your present—so you can begin to respond differently, with clarity and confidence.

My approach is trauma-informed, attachment-based, and integrative psychotherapy, combining a person-centered foundation with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based, trauma-informed modalities. This allows our work to be both deeply supportive and structured, helping you feel understood while also creating meaningful, lasting change.

I provide psychotherapy for individuals who are ready to heal, grow, and develop more secure ways of relating—to themselves and others. My style is warm, empathetic, and collaborative—while also being direct and goal-oriented. I will meet you where you are, and I will help you move forward.

Therapy is not just about talking—it’s about meaningful, lasting change.

Together, we will:

  • Reduce anxiety, overthinking, and emotional distress

  • Understand and shift insecure attachment patterns

  • Heal from narcissistic abuse and rebuild self-trust

  • Challenge unhelpful thoughts and core beliefs

  • Improve emotional regulation and relationship functioning

  • Build healthier boundaries and a stronger sense of self

Our work will focus on helping you feel more secure, connected, and aligned with who you truly are.

Additional Areas of Focus

  • Insomnia – using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) to improve sleep quality and restore healthy sleep patterns

  • Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) – using Inference-Based CBT (i-CBT) to target obsessive doubt and reduce compulsive behaviors

The intake and the first three sessions are usually an evaluation period as well. I do not offer free consultations and only provide services for people who have signed proper consents ensuring that time is spent with people who are committed to entering into therapy.

DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?

Yes. I am in-network with BCBS and Aetna. I am an out-of-network provider with other carriers. I can provide you with a Superbill that you can submit for reimbursement for out of network services. Some insurance plans offer reimbursement of 80-90% of the out-of-pocket costs. Please get in touch with your plan to ask about your out-of-network benefits. If I am still listed as an in-network provider please note I am in the process of getting off all insurance panels. I also provide sliding-fee scale to clients through one of my supervised therapists.

HOW DO I GET REIMBURSED FOR OUT OF NETWORK SESSIONS?

Please ask your insurance about how to get reimbursed for your out-of-pocket costs but there are soma apps that may also help you do that conveniently for a small fee such as Reimbursify, Float, and The Superbill

WHY CHOSE AN OUT-OF NETWORK PROVODER AND WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF SELF-PAY?

When dealing with insurance, clinicians must assign a clinical diagnosis and document medical necessity. These diagnosis stay on your records and they would not authorize payment for you to work on issues such as self-esteem, work-life balance, and other common issues that bring clients to therapy. In order to be paid (or reimbursed), clinician must bill for services by assigning a qualifying clinical diagnosis on the patient's record. Insurance companies may also dictate how many sessions they authorize, or deny claims alleging there is no medical necessity. Checking benefits is not a guarantee of payment, and claim denials leave clients with a surprise bill or an unplanned outstanding balance. The insurance company can also request to review records. Payment is not guaranteed, and your records may not be completely private or confidential.

Many clinicians who take insurance are often over-burdened with eligibility verification, billing, and claim reviews and are often under-paid. These clinicians often find themselves burnt out and the overall quality of client care could suffer. Self-Pay clients know how much the cost would be in advance and have no surprises (Good Faith Estimate).
